Do you have big plans for the weekend?  We are headed to a friends house to enjoy a night or two with them.  They moved last fall and we haven't seen them much!  Their daughter is having a baby girl soon so of course I had to make something cute. These MaryJane shoes along with some carseat strap covers for her and for their little boy.  I'm also in the process of making some washcloths for our friends!

Monday Already! Photo Prop Ready!

Happy Monday!  So you know when you put certain items in a spot where when originally thinking "you'll know exactly where you put them when you look for them next". Well don't, just leave them exactly where they are because you never remember! I was putting together a giveaway item, couldn't find it. Was trying to figure out possibilities for the person who won. Trying to put together my package for a photographer couldn't find a hat. Have been looking for a large spool of yarn for the past couple days couldn't find it. IS THIS A MONDAY. I ended up finding everything! Thankfully!

So  not sure what happened! I was making this washcloth last night while watching a movie and I happen to look down. A hole had appeared, thought I had fixed it but obviously I hadn't so I guess I just made myself a washcloth. Hahahahaha yeah me!

GOTTA GET RID OF THIS!  Any photographers need a good deal on a photo prop? I have this Butterfly Photo prop that fits 3month olds. I'm selling this for $50 + $12 s/h.  Please contact me!

TGIF!!!!!! Knitting or Crochet?

 TGIF!  The weekend is upon us.  What are your plans? I hope to have a nice evening and Saturday with my family, birthday party to go to on Sunday for the kids and of course I'm participating in the Sunday Lounge and Shop RTS.  Link is below.  I also plan on finishing up some knitting projects.  Putting a few finishing touches on my knitted baby hats too, maybe start some crochet baby hats and start some knitted washcloths.  Anyone interested in a free knitted pattern for a washcloth?  Anyways I gotta get my Friday started, still have a a cup of coffee in my hand and it's mid-morning!   Question for the day: What do you prefer (doing or seeing) knit or crochet items?

Welcome!

Welcome! This is my first post. I'm very new at this so please be patient!  I want to keep this very low key and informal.  Every time I knit I imagine myself in a cozy chair surrounded by a ton of yarn among friends, having some wine.  So whenever I post please have that atmosphere on mind.

A few things you should know about me; I am an only child, I love to knit obviously, love to read and thanks to my sister in law am addicted to reading on my  iPad, am very random, which drives my husband nuts (7.5 yrs married) and would love to be sitting on the beach knitting and reading. I am a stay at home mom of two beautiful children who are the light of my life, along with my husband. I learned the art of knitting from my grandma as a teenager and have been knitting ever since. I love to knit and decided to share my creations with you!   

This just might be my outlet.  Being a stay at home mom is the hardest job I have and will ever have! So anyway........ Please follow me! I will be adding stuff and trying to figure things out as I go.  If you have any advice it would be appreciated!  Got to get dinner done!
